Walla.Me Lets You Hide Messages in Plain Sight

Long gone are the days of people sending messages in bottles to others on different continents and such. Even though those were amazing, we moved past them to some newer, better types of communication. Even so, we still have the need to sometimes hide something just for other people to find and see, like a secret sign, or a message in a bottle. That’s where Walla.Me comes into play.
Walla.Me is an app that allows you to hide messages in the real world. Complicated as it may sound, it’s actually pretty simple. You take a photo of a building, a landmark, or a wall. Then you draw whatever your heart desires on that wall, and send it to someone. They can then look at the location in the real world through their phone’s camera and Walla.Me app, and find the note you left them. Pretty neat! I can’t say I ever thought an app like this one would exist, and on first look, it did strike me as something really weird and peculiar. But after getting to know it for a while, I really did see some features and perspective that I didn’t know were even possible.
This May Be The Next Big Thing
Of course, that is something I would say if it wasn’t a great thing already. The sheer amount of innovation and smart design that needed to be done to make something like this is absolutely worth of everyone’s attention. Especially because Walla.Me can be used to create some pretty interesting stuff. Let’s say you want to leave a surprise to your significant other somewhere at home, but are worried someone else might find out. No problem, take a snap, write your text, and your partner will see it when they walk into the room with their phone in their hand. For their eyes only or not, it will definitely amuse and astonish them, and you’ll be happy you made them smile.
It’s Free, it’s Fun, and It’s Limited By Nothing
The possibilities are indeed quite large. You can use Walla to draw faces on other faces in the world, such as statues or paintings, and then send them to someone for instant comedic effect. You can leave clues to your friends and make amazing and detailed treasure hunts. Just imagine leading your friends on an adventure through the city with a series of clues incorporated in trees, buildings, or something different. You can even get creative and write the notes and clues on billboards, and even things in the mall. The world is really your playground, and you can do whatever, and write wherever you like. The best thing is, of course, that it doesn’t stay written on the objects like graffiti or those nasty ugly drawings, it just remains in your phone and in the app – no harm is done to anyone’s property. You can express yourself to your closest friends and family without the risk of destroying someone’s hard work.
Be an artist wherever you please
We know it’s great to write the name of your crush in big letters by the river, but someone has to clean that up, and it’s probably not legal. Why not write her name on 10 other places, and have her find them by leaving her clues? Perhaps the first place you kissed, or the address of her first apartment. We at .Me think that’s much more romantic, don’t you agree? And once she finds all of the clues, you can easily delete those and start again with the next adventure. Leaving notes in the real world has really never been so interesting, but Walla.Me is not just about notes. You can also put photos and draw shapes and characters. You can put fire on water, giant pandas the size of houses on said houses, and small cute animals around your home.
