Tvitomanija.Me Wants to Be The Largest Social Media Conference in Southeastern Europe!
Not long after Blogomanija ended in December last year, Internet communities in Balkans started chattering about a social media conference which was to take place on April or May 2013.
Called Tvitomanija (Twitter mania, get it?), the conference was last held in the November of 2011, and the time for a new one couldn’t be better. Rumors escalated last week, but when Zoran Torbica, chief organizer, announced that the 2013. Tvitomanija is being held from May 8th to 12th in NOVI Spa Hotels & Resort, Croatia, everybody wanted to find out how they could apply.
Just last night the official website launched, and with it we found out more details about this conference, which according to organizers is going to be a huge hit. The title of this year’s Tvitomanija is “Social networks and life” and it’s gathering the most prominent names from the domain of new media, celebrity and public relations. Alongside with many other lecturers and panelist, they will discuss the subject of how social media revolutionized all aspects of our lives, how it benefits society and how it became mainstream in countries outside US.
Although the conference has a prefix twitter, it will be about all the major social networks such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, Pintrest, etc. Participants will have an opportunity to find out first hand why it’s important for a business to be present on social networks, and what are some of the advantages your company could enjoy in a market where Internet is playing a major role in half of the population’s lives.
The capacity of hotel NOVI Spa Hotels & Resort which is located in Novi Vinodolski, Croatia is 1300 beds. However, the organizers are confident that with the low price of the conference (just 25 euros per night), people will sign up in the first few weeks, so make sure you do it as soon as possible. Just remember what happened on Blogomanija, the hotel was packed and some 200+ people were looking for an extra bed.
