TheyApp.Me Interview With Jovana Miljanović: Storing Your Favorite Memories

This week, we bring you the interview with Jovana Miljanović, CMO of TheyApp. She is 23 years old and her startup is currently based in Belgrade, working on their first app. With background in management, PR and digital marketing she hopes that TheyApp will go global, but for now the whole team is open to advice and constructive criticism, because they want to make the app as good possible. Without any further delay, we’ll let Jovana tell us something more.
What gave you and other co-founders the idea for TheyApp.Me?
We were at Zlatibor with some friends, and I was talking about how much it means to me toremember all the small things about people. What they like to drink, what is their dream vacation destination, and so on. I noticed how people seem appreciative about it. That helped me a lot, both in my personal and professional life. We wanted to help people do the same thing, without too much thinking and just keep it simple. We came up with TheyApp, which helps users to create a collage of memories and important stuff about their loved ones.
How did you form the TheyApp.Me team?
We were already friends who had similar interests and passion for tech, apps and startups. I am crazy about entrepreneurship and all things digital, Jelena is amazing with coding and coming up with new ideas on design and Nikola is great with coding and planning.
What makes Theyapp.Me stand out from the rest of the competition?
The simplicity of the app. The fact that you can store your moments, save all the important details about a person or call, text or email them in the same time. This app will help you always pick the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway with your girlfriend, surprise your boss with his favorite barrique wine or bring your mom her favorite chocolates on her birthday. You will have a collection of moments that will cheer you up when you feel down, like the ones from vacation, moments with your pets or your friends back home.
So far, how are users responding?
Users have been very helpful and we appreciate it so much. They send us feedback, tell us what changes they want us to implement. Sometimes they tell us where they would like to see TheyApp go in the future. That is all invaluable advice to us and we don’t take it for granted. We implement it, thus showing our users how important they are in the future of the app.
Are there any ideas, plans or upgrades for the app in the future?
Absolutely, we have many plans and upgrades that are about to come out. We plan to integrate it better with social networks, provide backups and sync with servers, make content available for sharing between groups of users etc. Some of those features are in the making, some of them are planned to be done in the near future.
