Startup Mediatoolkit Will Present Itself at Techcrunch Disrupt 2013. Thanks to .Me

Croatian startup Mediatoolkit, pitched at the conference by project leader Filip Topol, managed to secured the first prize at the WebUp competition at our annual WebFest.Me conference in Budva, Montenegro. As you know, WebFest.Me is one of Central and Eastern Europe’s most promising web conferences that brings in web experts from all around the globe, such as SEDO’s CSO and the founder of Kiip.me!

Filip managed to pitch his way to success in the final against a cloud based veterinarian service VetCloud and automotive social network My Garage. While both of them seemed promising, Mediatoolkit had the whole package: a clear business model and market, a functioning web application with an impressive interface and traction in terms of over a 1000 users, including journalists and bloggers from some of the region’s top media outlets. Check out how Mediatoolkit works in their official video:

What Mediatoolkit has won is a $50,000 booth at the next Techcrunch Disrupt conference which will take place next year in New York. Techcrunch Disrupt is biggest startup conference in the US and Mediatoolkit will appear in their “Startup Alley“, a place where numerous companies will be presenting their projects. A lot of them had .Me domains names at this year’s Disrupt frequented by our very own Vuksan!

The New York trip could be a triple-win for the Croatian media startup. New York is the center of the US media industry, Mediatoolkit’s core market while lends itself to new deals being made. Also, the best Startup Allery company voted by the attendees will get the chance to pitch at the startup Battlefield, Techcrunch Disrupt’s startup competition. And yes, we’re hoping it’s going to be Mediatoolkit! Mediatoolkit launched their new version just last week so try it out!
