Secure.me Will Track You And Your Kids on the Internet
We’ve all been there; you have been photographed in a situation you might regret some day. Or you’re just a personal reputation freak and you want to know everything people are saying about you or your business on the Internet?
Secure.me is as service that might be helpful in tracking all of those situations and even more – you can track what people are saying about you or your kids and protect them from online bullying.
Keep Track of Rumors About You
Secure.me is actually a monitoring service which allows you to scan the Internet for any mention of you or your name. It’s slightly creepy at first, as you have to grant it permission on your Facebook profile to scan for everything, but it will find each and every status update, comment or any other piece of information with your name in it.

With Secure.me you can set up profiles to watch, so if you’re a parent, you can set up your own and your kids’ Facebook profile to be monitored. Once you’ve got it, Secure.me will scan your friends’ posts and even images and report back to you. You may find some photos of you in which you weren’t tagged in as well.
Threat or No Threat?
After each automattic scan, you will see a graphical bar representing the mood of your network. From negative to positive, it will let you know what is your network thinking of you at the moment. You’ll also see a complete list of posts that need your attention, wheather they are some offending words or an image of you without your tag. It uses facial recognition technology so after it “sees” several pictures of you, it should be able to find you.

Secure.me is pretty useful if you’re going to use it to keep your reputation clean. After all, it’s up to you to lookup information about yourself, right?
Parenting 2.0
This might be invasive for some of you, but it’s important that parents have a insight of what’s happening in their kids’ online social life. It’s not that uncommon for a child to get bullied on Facebook by their classmates. With Secure.me, parents can see all the photos, status updates and even private messages that their child is getting. Invasion of privacy or helping out? You decide.
Secure.me is still in closed beta and should be open for public in the beginning of the 2012. There will be a free and a paid version for $7 per month. Take a look at this intro video and if you want to try Secure.me soon, go ahead and register for your invitation code.
