Puush.ME: Instantly Share Your Images And Files

3 min read,

Don’t settle with average, because things can always be better than they already are. I guess Dean Herbert and Jamie Taylor thought the same. The Puush.ME project was initiated by these two friends who just had enough with currently available solutions for instant file/image sharing.

“Puush is intended to remain an actively developed project which adapts to users’ needs rapidly, with constant small improvements as opposed to large new version releases.”

First of all, you need to register by filling a very simple form of email and password. Once your account is created, pick the username you like. If you want, choose between a free or pro account. Purchasing the pro account will cost you 15$ per year. Total account storage, maximum filesize differ between the free and the pro account. By purchasing the pro account, you also get “that warm and fuzzy feeling from supporting puush”. 😀

Once you are done with setting your account, just start sharing screenshots and files. And this is how you do it:

“Use keyboard shortcuts or drag-drop gestures to quickly capture any portion of your screen or upload any file. These files are near-instantly puush’d, leaving behind a short URL in your clipboard, perfect for sharing. Paste these easily into your Twitter, IRC or IM clients. Share them with the world or make them private, for your eyes only.”

Puush.ME Makers Do Not Believe In Ads!

Dean and Jamie also have some other things to say. Puush makes sure that platforms Windows and OS X are both natural to UI style and featured in every implementation. There are no ads, because they don’t believe in it. They choose to employ an optional yearly subscription with pro features then surrounding you with ads. The team is also proud of their speed and reliable hosting. Web-based file management is constantly evolving and improving.

You can choose for your files to be sorted in pools. A pool is sort of album of content. You can organize them as you wish with restricted access. Puush.Me will make sure that if you choose private option all of your images and files will be save and protected. All your puushed files are always your property, because Puush.Me is just hosting it, nothing else. You can delete your files whenever you want to.

It’s always nice to see what creative minds can do and how helpful they can be to rest of the community. Team of Puush.Me wanted something better, for both themselves and us. And they made it. 🙂
