New Year, New .ME: My 4 Best .ME Sites Of 2017.
Writing for the .ME blog has led me to find out more about a ton of different websites, services, and all sorts of cool ideas that live on this fun domain. Still, some .ME sites caught my attention more last year, and I’ve been genuinely amazed by some of the ideas I’ve come across in the last 12 months. From cool ideas for keeping your finances in check to travel and streaming apps .ME sites are as diverse as they come.
Of course, the best way to start a new year is to remember the best things about the last one and start turning to the future that will certainly be great for this domain. So, without further ado, I present to you my own personal choice of .ME sites that caught my attention this last year, in no particular order.

Once you set foot in the new year, you’re probably going to start thinking more and more about your personal expenses. Be it the Christmas spending sprees, or the daily cost of living, you’ve probably thought that there has to be a better way to organize your spending habits, and there is. There are hundreds of apps that help you keep track of your finances, but one of the coolest one is definitely FlyCash.ME.
The app itself serves the essentially same purpose as most of the finance tracking apps out there, with an interesting twist: it’s actually an app that uses chatbots and emojis to make it easier for you to keep score of your finances. All you need to do, really, is to “talk” to the app about your spending habits and the app will organize your spendings, while also allowing you to edit tags and use emojis to mark the things you’re spending money on, like pizza emoji for example.
It’s cool, it’s fun, and it’s .ME, and that’s why FlyCash.ME makes it to my list.

Being a dedicated gamer and a member of the regional community, it’s great for me to see innovative gaming sites that actually aim to help gamers with some of their biggest troubles, especially when it comes to esport players. One of the greatest issues when it comes to regional esport teams is the process of scrimmage, simply described as training matches between professional teams on the same level.

ScrimWith.Me is a tool that allows you to sign in as a team and arrange scrimmage matches with ease, thus making life easier for everyone involved.

The third app that I’ve picked is an extremely simple one, and the premise behind the app is that we all have tons of instant messaging contacts, from Viber and WhatsApp to Signal and Facebook Messenger. Thus, the existence of a service that arranges all of the contacts in one place for you to send out to your friends and business partners is something that can help a lot.
You just sign in for the app, put in a username and add your instant messaging apps, and you’re set. You’ll be provided with a custom link that you can send out the next time somebody asks you what chat app you’re using. Simple, smart and easy – enough to make it to our list, right?
Relocate.Me
By far my favorite .ME site of the year, and one of the sites that caught the most attention of media in the last quarter of 2017. Relocate.Me is a site that aims to help developers and tech workers relocate for their jobs easier, which means a couple of things. Firstly, it’s amazing for developers as it provides them with a list of companies connected with the cities where they’re hiring which means that if you want a job in Amsterdam, for example, you’ll just need a couple clicks to see what’s up there.

Another great thing is that the site actively tries to help you see what jobs offer better benefits for you as a worker. The site will tell you what jobs offer which benefits, like free plane tickets and even flats and houses for you to use while you’re in the process of settling down.
This is also great for tech companies that are in dire need of developers and even though they have money, they might be having troubles while finding adequate people for the job in their own country. That’s where Relocate.Me helps, and it does so amazingly well.
So there you have it – a list of my favorite .ME services and sites of the year 2017, and I have no doubt that there’s going to be more great apps and tools in the years to come.
