Welcome to the New .Me Blog: We See Lots of Content in Your Future
Notice something different? Yes, we’ve redesigned our website as well as gave our official blog a whole new look. Fresh? We think so and we hope you do too. The goal of this revamped look of Domain.me and the .Me blog is to give you an even more useful place to explore the possibilities of using the newest web tools and technologies along with .Me domains names.
Domain.me 2.0
With the advent of the social web and services like Facebook, Twitter and About.Me, it’s more important than ever to find your place on the web. Some, like the social media sommelier Gary Vaynerchuk think that social media is the biggest change in communication since the invention of the printing press. We wouldn’t be blogging to you here at .Me if we didn’t believe we could help you use the new, personal web.

The new website is optimized for both new visitors and frequent users, giving you a lot more resources on why and how to get your .Me domain name. You can, for example, find a list of our registrars or become one yourself. But we’ll leave the exploring up to you… The design was created and the Domain.me websit developed by Huge Media and Icon, while the blog interface and WordPress integration was done by the Blagonic Brothers.
What’s Next for .Me?
It’s about .Me or in fact – about .You! As a business the .Me domain team strives to get even more people, startups and companies using our domain name (there are at least 5 reasons to get a .Me domain ;)), but we can only do that by not just talking the talk, but also walking the walk, or in this case – blogging the blog. That’s why…
The .Me Blog Gets Supercharged
Since there have been numerous posts, lots of comments and even more interest in the .Me blog, it’s getting some “powerups”. In fact, I’d like to introduce myself, Ivan, and my friend and colleague Nikola from Acumen Connect, as the new editors of the the official .Me blog. Natasa and Predrag think we can do a good job and from our experience blogging for Techcrunch Europe, Freelance Switch and Netokracija, we’ll certainly try.
The plan is to blog at least 4-5 times a week, not just about .Me news, but also tips and guides on how to use the newest web technologies and tools you can use. If you are trying to conquer the personal web with a .Me website or even a .com, we’ll help you make it. How to grow your Facebook page? How to add a Twitter feed to your blog? How to add that cool Google +1 button to your post.
So now you’re asking yourself if you need to do something. Honestly? Just enjoy the ride, follow us on Twitter or become a fan on Facebook. We’ll be posting all the new content on those various services so you can’t miss. This is certainly going to be interesting…
