Molo.me Wants to Be Instagram for Android, Symbian and BlackBerry

2 min read,

There are many mobile applications which allow you to take a photo, apply some filters on it and post it online and to your social networks. Instagram is probably one of the most recognizable ones, thanks to its faithful user base and exclusivity it has with iPhone. Acutally, Instagram’s Kevin Systrom announced at LeWeb in Paris that they’re working on the Android version of Instagram.

The Android Market already has several Instagram-like apps. One of them is Molo.me, a filter-photo loving community with free cross-platform mobile applications for Android, Nokia’s Symbian and BlackBerry.

Share the Journey of Life

Molo.me is actually a photo-sharing social network. To use it, you need to install the application on your smartphone, take a photo, add a filter effect and share it. It’s easy as that.

Molo.me Android application

Your photos will be visible on Molo.me website for other users to see it. Of course, if you have some really nice photos, people will be able to “love” them or leave comments. There are some badges for you as well and even some real stuffed owls 😉

Filters, Filters, Filters

Molo.me wouldn’t be such a nice photo-sharing community without a few filters for your photos. The latest Android version has 19 of them, including Tilt Shift, Vignette, GentleArt, Slide Film, Old Paper, Vintage, Sepia, Black & White and more.

There are also some Android-only filters like Slick UI or Pinky Leak; download Molo.me for Android and test it out! BlackBerry application has a special Rainbow filter which might interest you.

Social Overload

When you upload your photos to Molo.me, they can also be shared to your Facebook and Twitter profiles. You can use Molo.me as a platform of some sort for all your photo activities, or even in promotional purposes; if you released a new product or you’re having a company party, with Molo.me you can easily broadcast the pictures to everyone in your social circles.
