MojaSkola.ME
MojaSkola.ME (Montenegrin for MySchool) is a community project sponsored by Crnogorski Telekom (Montenegrin Telecommunications Company) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science. The aim of the project is to provide a single online destination where primary and secondary school students from Montenegro can find information about joint school activities, exams, curriculum, exchange their experiences, read school blogs and ask questions. What is more important, students actively participated in the website creation and modification and so far over 160 schools have made their web presentations as part of the above mentioned project. In addition to raising awareness about information technology and emphasizing the overall computer literacy, by adapting new communication concepts (blogging, social networking, content sharing) to educational purposes, the project creates a unique hub under a single dotME domain name – MojaSkola.ME.
