.ME Registry Donated Didactic Materials to the Daily Center Tisa

If there is one saying we subscribe to as a company, it’s ‘sharing is caring.’ Last year we celebrated a decade of growth. Through all of these years and CSR programmes we started, we were guided by one key value – our passion and commitment to giving back to the communities we are a part of, especially when it comes to creating and promoting tech-related educational opportunities for Montenegrin society.

As you may know, we ended 2018 in the best possible way – with two national social and corporate responsibility awards in our hands – the ISKRA 2018 philanthropy excellence award for “Contribution at a National level” and an award for caring about the community by the Montenegrin Employers Federation. This filled us with pride and even greater enthusiasm for supporting our community.

Because of that, we decided to start this year by forming new friendships and extending our usual range of CSR programmes.

Center for children and youth with disabilities Tisa from Bijelo Polje, is the first Montenegrin organisation with the mission of supporting socialization and community participation of children with disabilities. We tried to figure out the best way to communicate our love and care, which is why we decided on something that will be both useful for the children’s development and fun to play with.

With the aim of making daily activities for the children in the Center more engaging, we decided to donate them didacticmaterials. With the total value of 2,000€, these include various jigsaw puzzles, tables for improving graphomotor skills, cards for language development, development of cognitive abilities, as well as the development of their memory and ability to focus.

In the words of people working in the Daily Center Tisa: “By using these materials, children will gain self-confidence, sense of responsibility and be even more aware of their importance in the community”.
