As we slowly return to the new normal across the world, the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic and many other diseases continue to lurk around every corner. To help those among us whose health is at risk achieve a healthier future, .ME donated about € 20,000 with VAT to the Clinical Center of Montenegro infusion and syringe pumps, modern medical devices necessary for the provision of intravenous therapy.

With the help of modern technology, these devices enable precise and safe dosing of drugs.

Dr Jevto Eraković, director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, thanked .ME for the valuable donation, emphasizing that these are medical devices that are necessary for the daily work of medical staff in the treatment of patients, and their constant renewal is necessary.

“Infusion and syringe pumps are used for precise and safe dosing of drugs during their application in the most severe conditions, as well as for those patients where continuous therapy is necessary. I must say that this is not the first donation Domain.ME made to Montenegrin health care, which makes me especially happy, particularly now that the whole world is struggling with a pandemic caused by the novel COVID-19 virus. The procurement of new and the renewal of the existing equipment must be on a continuous basis. In addition to the available budget funds, this is made significantly easier by our corporate friends”, concluded Dr Eraković.

“We are aware that the road before us is long, but we need to persevere should we want to diminish the repercussions of the COVID-19 virus. Here at .ME are ready to do our best in order to help the community recover faster. More than ever, it is important to turn to new technologies, both in education and in health and business. It is precisely in this domain that we see our greatest contribution,” said Predrag Lesic, CEO of Domain.ME.

For the past 11 years, since founding  Domain.ME, we have invested over a million euros in the community through various CSR activities intended to raise awareness in Montenegro about the benefits of the digital world and equip people, especially youth, with skills needed to successfully navigate it.

In the past few months, in order to support the Montenegrin health system during the COVID-19 virus pandemic, .ME donated € 25,000 in March for the purchase of respirators and the necessary medical equipment. Earlier this month, the company also donated € 40,000 to the development of two Montenegrin startups – Trguj.Me and Honorarijum, aimed at digitizing Montenegrin society and recovering economic activities.
