Leandra Tomaine certainly didn’t lack in creativity in her childhood. What’s more, she doesn’t lack in creativity as an adult. Perhaps that’s because she has been fostering it ever since she was a little girl. And, she sure won’t stop.

Sure, it was all fun and play in the beginning. But, what started out as fun and play turned into a lifelong passion, and a successful career.

The Professional Journey of Leandra Tomaine

Undeniably, Leandra has come a long way since she was 8. Her first websites may not have been the best – because, after all, she was just a child curious about the world of web development.

Her current work, however, is nothing short of exceptional.

Leandra Tomaine’s first serious engagement was at Holberg Design, where she assisted in various web development projects. From full site redesigns, to creating new ones, this gig helped her further equip herself with knowledge. HTML, CSS, Flash animations, WordPress… She did it all.

At around the same time, she decided to use her powers for good. So, she started tutoring students at the The Art Institutes of York-PA. Mentoring them on HTML, CSS, jQuery, PhP, MySQL, and other web related subjects, Leandra really made an impact. Through this engagement, as well as private tutoring, she inspired other web enthusiasts to follow their passion. And taught them to create their first websites.

Few years later, she went on to become the lead WordPress developer at the Pavone Marketing Group. But, she still didn’t abandon her passion for teaching. In fact, Leandra introduced “lunch & learns” to the company, aimed at teaching non-developers basic codes.

Today, she is a Senior WordPress Developer, living in Philadelphia and working remotely. Through an active engagement at CreativeMMS, she continues to wow clients with her amazing web development skills.

In the meantime, she launched her own website, using it to celebrate her creativity and showcase her extensive resume.
