2 min read,

Jostle.Me, the “people engagement” platform, just raised an additional $3.1 million from a group of angel investors to compete in the enterprise intranet software market. Think of Jostle.Me as an internal Facebook for your team and company, while their team describes the product as a “turnkey intranet platform that enables employees, amplifies culture and fosters teamwork.”

According to Techcrunch, Jostle.Me has raised $4.6 million to date. Interestingly, especially since its a platform to let individuals collaborate, all Jostle.Me’s investors are private individuals. For the more visual among us, the platform is ideal: it’s based on images of employees you can filter by name, role, skill and other criteria.

Jostle.Me makes a point of helping you:

  • Uncover expertise tahat users add to the network via auto-tagging and special people-search-technology;
  • Drive culture in terms of making it easy to communicate news and share successes;
  • Enable employees in a manner that they are brought to the forefront, helping people get the needed information.

Jostle.Me has even created their own manifesto and you can test the platform as a special free trial.  As you might have noticed, Jostle.Me is a bit different… From individual investors to specific benefits, so you should check it out.
