Hover.ME, a new must-have tool developed on hvr.me, is another victory for .ME domains in the social media world! This browser plug-in, recently released by AculisNet, currently works on Twitter interface only and enables users to view their friends’ social web profile simply by mousing over their name in the Twitter stream. Therefore, using hvr.me, one can actually find friends profiles on a number of social networks such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, FriendFeed and ultimately connect with them. The service even made to TechCrunch blog where it was characterized as “incredibly useful”. Let’s hope that AculisNet will soon add similar functionality to Facebook as well as other social networks.
