Hitch.me: Because You’re A Single Professional

3 min read,

If you’re a busy professional in your field, chances are that you’re single. All those years at college, trying to get the best grades, working on the side, developing your own projects or building a business – everything takes up precious time and there was no time for some intimate moments.

You had your priorities set up that way until one day you’ve realized that all aspects of your life are great – except your love life. You’ve tried dating sites, bars, parties and none of them work. LinkedIn, the popular business social network has a lot of professionals like you, but who are they and how can you meet them? Hitch.me is the answer.

Hitch…me

Hitch.me is a service for meeting people over LinkedIn. Based on your profile, Hitch.me will find the people who might be your ideal partner, in life or in business. Check out how it works:

To use it, you’ll need a Linkedin account and grant Hitch.me the access to your it. Hitch.me won’t publish anything on your LinkedIn profile, so you can meet someone in total privacy.

Your Profile

To use Hitch.me, you must fill out your profile. From basic stuff like your gender and what you’re looking for, to more detailed information like your personality, religion, smoking and drinking habits etc.

What are you looking for?

The cool thing Hitch.me allows is filtering of groups which can see your information. By using Hitch.me you will be searchable to all of LinkedIn, not just your personal network of contacts. These filters will help you narrow down this to LinkedIn groups, or specific education. That way you can choose to get contacted only by those with a, let’s say, masters degree or higher.

Flirting 2.0

Now that everything is set up, you can start searching for other people. You’ll get some potential matches in your dashboard: to whom you can send a smile, make a pitch, add them to favorites or even block them if they’re bothering you.

Your dashboard

The only thing you’ll see are LinkedIn details of that person, and if you want to see more of their personal details, you’ll have to unlock them by giving some credits. This is actually the business model of Hitch.me, selling the credits needed to get more information.

Credits

Once you get in, you’ll get 200 credits for free, which will serve you to get some additional details on that specific someone, personal details and other “locked” information.

Get more credits

You can get more credits in two ways; with an affiliate link (for every new Hitch.me member that uses your affiliate link to register, you’ll get 100 credits) or by buying them. Get 300 credits for $10, 1,000 credits for $25 or 2,500 credits for $50.

Do you have any experience in online dating? Will you try out Hitch.me?
