GameFace.Me Turns Your Facebook Friends Into Zombies!

The great thing about iPhone and iPad games is that there is practically an endless number of them available – paid or free, great looking ones or poorly designed. The not so great thing is that those games have all the same characters – imagination of someone else’s mind.
Remember when Super Mario rescued his princess? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you had the same game engine, including the environment of the game, but the main character could be you and the princess could be your crush? It would be awesome if you could somehow look at your face instead of the little plumber guy, right? GameFace.Me is working on it.
Face Your Friends
GameFace.Me is a collection of (currently) three games you can get for your iOS device. NomNomFace, PuppetFace and ZombieFace are the games which will connect with your Facebook account and take pictures from your friends and apply them to game characters. So, why fight regular zombies when you can chase your zombie-friends?

The idea is simple and the GameFace.Me team is all about faces and gesture gaming; Tipatat Chennavasin, CEO of GameFace.Me actually pioneered gesture-based gaming even before Nintendo Wii! This patent pending personalization technology allows the GameFace.Me team to transform existing social network data and photos into relevant game content, allowing their application to be ultimate personalized apps you’ve ever used.

If you’re a developer and want to implement GameFace.Me, just send them a note and you’ll probably get a deal.
Social Life Into A Social Game
As I’ve mentioned it before, there are three games available for now: NomNomFace, PuppetFace and ZombieFace. The goal of NomNomFace is to take a picture of your friend (via Facebook or directly from camera) and feed them. Watch them get fatter or skinnier with each noise as you learn what foods to avoid. PuppetFace is a much simpler game – you apply the face of your friend onto a puppet and choose what will the puppet do – be in a boxing ring, dancing etc.
ZombieFace will transform your friends into zombies (or vice versa?) and you’ll collect points by… well, killing them. All these games are free for you to try them out, so check them out.
