Unsticker.Me: Only for Advanced Haters of Facebook Stickers

Do stickers make you anxious? You have to decide where to stick them and then there’s no going back, and honestly, it’s not the kind of commitment many people are ready for. That’s where Unsticker.Me, a Firefox and Chrome extension, comes into play, getting rid of all those Facebook comment stickers you don’t like and don’t want!
Even worse than the commitment issue I mentioned – imagine getting a shiny new gadget and thinking „Yes! Now I can finally use those Star Wars stickers I’ve been saving for months because I am five years old and nothing is sacred to me!“ Imagine eating brunch with your friends and leaving the table for a few minutes. You come back and there it is, a new Jar Jar Binks sticker is staring at you from your new phone. „This can’t be,“ you whisper, flipping the gadget to check the damage. „Noooooooo,“ you cry out, bewildered as a smug little Hello Kitty face is smirking at you from the back of your phone. Why would your friends do this to you? Your stickers were art – and now everything is ruined.
What about Facebook Stickers?
You’re scrolling through the endless void of baby pictures and Marilyn Monroe quotes, and then you see it. Your ex posted a whiny Youtube song. Like a true grown up you are, you can’t waste the chance to establish your dominance in passive aggression. Yes, a sticker of Pusheen the Cat crying is exactly the comment his post needs. But wait, what is that? A Power Ranger showing you the finger? A stickman clapping? Where did these come from? Ah yes, your friends ruined your sticker game again. Sure, you can always just delete your own sticker, but why would you want to show that kind of weakness? Well, worry not, Rodney Folz is here to save you!
Folz to the Rescue!
This Berkeley student suffers from a rare condition, allergy to feelings, and once he realized Facebook stickers let people share how they’re feeling, he decided to take the matter into his own hands. He developed the free Chrome and Firefox extension, Unsticker.me, that lets you hide every single sticker on your Facebook feed. Sure, your friends will still see them, but if you’re the kind of person who relies on stickers for your daily doses of humor, passive aggression or expression of your unbearable ennui, you’re probably the kind of person who plays hide-and-seek by closing their eyes and giggling, which means this extension is just what you need.
How to “Kill” Those Stickers
Just download the extension over at Unsticker.Me and it will remove stickers from Facebook comments.
Folz says he feels no joy in life, so he copes by trying to remove joy in the lives of others. He even went so far as to include the free source code, so that even nerds can be unhappier than they already are. When asked if he also hates puppies, he replied with a firm yes, while adding that he would hate cats, too, but he respects the fact that they hate him more.
Unsticker.me was his first extension, but he plans to make more new ones and we hope he makes other domains unhappy by also using the .ME domain name for them. Folz says Hacker News criticized his work for shoddy programming, so he wants to make more extensions to “pi** them off”.
We do hope you had your sense of humor turned on while reading this introduction to the very useful Unsticker.Me! 🙂
