European Tech Conferences You MUST Visit In 2016 To Stay Productive

4 min read,

Want to boost up your productivity? Go to a great tech conference!

A variety of informative talks, networking events and startup demos are the main reasons for attending a great conference. Yes, developing new ideas, learning something new or just promoting your business is already a lot easier than before throughout the power of Internet, but the human factor and the experience of attending an event where like-minded people gather in person and discuss is always going to be number one in personal and professional growth.

Thankfully, there are some great tech conferences happening in Europe in 2016.

Get The Most out of a Tech Conference

Going to a conference requires time from your everyday activities at work, and getting the most out of attending one requires good planning.

Allowing yourself to attend at least 1 to 3 conferences a year, depending on your budget, is a great plan. It will help you keep up with what’s going around, give you an opportunity to co-operate with other attendees rather than to compete and learn from experts first hand.

A lot of conferences today offer you the opportunity to watch live stream, as well a lot of videos after the event, so you can learn some things even without attending one. And even though it can sometimes be saving you a lot of time, the human factor is still missing. On a live event you can ask the speakers things you would like to know better, discuss ideas and give your opinion on the subject!

Prepare to Network

It’s no secret that the best thing to do at a conference is to network. The best thing is that you can present yourself in person to prospective clients and experts from all over the world in one place! You prepare and learn how to pitch in not more than 30 seconds, getting your business skills to another level. Also, it’s a great way to show everyone how you are thinking while having a good time.

Here’s our list of some of the  most productive conferences in Europe:

The Next Web… In Amsterdam

The Next Web was founded in 2006, and today plays a big role in the tech and web development publishing. The brand is best known for its tech news coverage and its TNW Conferences, a set of events hosted by The Next Web in Amsterdam, New York and Sao Paolo.

In 2014, The Next Web launched Boost, a programme dedicated to accelerating the growth of early-stage startups from around the world. Attendees have the opportunity to benefit from exposure, expert feedback and access to funding.

This year, the 11th annual European TNW Conference is taking place on 26-27 May in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the number of attendees is estimated up to 20,000 techies from across Europe and the world. During the two days, TNW Conference is also providing side events, such as Hack Battle and the World Tour.

After all, CNBC called it “The Most Intimate Technology Festival On The Planet”, which is a reason more to attend TNW if you haven’t already!
