ConcertWith.me: Concerts, Music, Friends

There are times when you want to go out and have a good time, like go on a concert for example. But you don’t know what is happening where, and all ”going out” websites are orientated on promotions of random items and themed parties. However, you are not part of that targeted audience and you want to listen to a live band. That is where Concertwith.me kicks in.
Why ConcertWith.me?
We’re not saying that there aren’t good websites for concerts. However, in my area personally, a lot of them are skimpy with informations or aren’t targeted to live music performances. Not to say that you can’t follow your favorite music venues on their websites, but that is a lot of scattered information. And every once in a while, everybody likes to mix it up, and go somewhere else.
ConcertWith.me is here to help with all that. It is concert recommendation site with extensive content description. The only down side is that you’ll need to log in with Facebook. A lot of people don’t mind interconnecting every living thing with it, but I am not one of them. So, it is a personal thing, a minor hiccup on my side. After you gave the permission to connect, rest of the browsing is easy and practical.
Browsing The Site
It will automatically show concerts chronologically, by your location. You can change the location, or you can browse events by genre or artist. After you click on an event that you are interested in, it will drop a menu that will show basic information. You can listen to a few samples of songs, find tickets (which will mostly take you to the venues’ site), expand a map of the location etc. If you click on ”About (name of the artist)” it will take you to more expanded information about that particular event.
You can browse artists’ pages where you can find concert dates, bigger library of songs that you can sample, watch video reports from previous concerts, look pictures, read bio, and links to whole bunch of other sites, where you can browse for even more information. All in all, a very robust variety of sources and guidance.
Social Aspect
Besides being an very informative and helpful, ConcertWith.me also has ability to serve as a social network. As mentioned before, you’ll need to log in with Facebook, and so, you’ll invite your contacts through it. But it doesn’t stop there. You can integrate it with Twitter, Deezer, Soundcloud, Spotify, etc. After that, your profile will show your friends’ plans and vice versa, so planning for a great night out should be much easier.
ConcertWith.me is a excellent site. I was personally awed with information and service that you can get there. However, the only thing that that can boost or ruin it, is its dependability on Facebook. All in all, great tool, especially if you are type who gets lost and/or frustrated with hoard of music sites.
