What is Colorslike.ME?
Colorslike.ME is a color extraction and multi-color search tool. It is showing the ability to separate foreground and background colors and allowing multi-color search in large images collections. Once you try with your own photo, you will see how cool that looks like :).
How does it work?
You can upload an image or paste the image URL. That’s all. No signing in or making accounts, uploading or copy paste the URL, it’s simple as that. After your done with upoading the image, fun part starts. Up to five representative colors, the technology analyzes the pixel content of each given image.
You will get the extracted colors is represented via hex code, RGB code, color name and the name of the so called parent color (for example ‘green’ is the parent color of ‘lime’). The search can be single and multi-color.
“Once the colors are extracted the API user can use them to organize the images for their own purpose, or allow people to search among them, or both.
Having the extracted colors, the API users can handle a basic search on their own, however we are offering a dedicated color-search API in case they need precise and fast color search or a search that needs to allow combination of multiple colors at the same time (the so called multi-color search).”
