Become a Domain Star and play with domains on Facebook
8 European domain name registries (Montenegro, Austria, Germany, Finland, France, Poland, Slovenia and Serbia) have partnered up to raise awareness about Internet domains on Facebook. Together we have developed a game, which allows people to perform WHOIS queries on Facebook using domain names in a playful way. The game is called Domain Star and you can try it out with your Facebook friends.
The fun part is that when playing the game, the real domain availability is checked and if the domain is free, you have the option to register it!

This new Facebook application informs users whether their first and last name is still available as a domain name in the selected country’s TLD and provides a link where they can register it. Users can of course query any keyword as a domain name and find out if it is free or not. In addition, they can use the picture tool to send interactive domain greetings and recommendations to their friends.
Additional features include a general knowledge quiz with a focus on the Internet and domains, which will bring you points on your way to becoming a domain star.
Points can be gained by inviting friends to the game, suggesting domain names to friends, accepting domain suggestions of friends and by answering quiz games. The score and ranking is shown on the bottom.
