Attachments.Me Announces Attachments Everywhere
Attachments.Me, a popular service which helps you save your Gmail attachments to Google Drive, Dropbox and Box account, introduced a couple of new features on their official blog. Called Attachments Everywhere, the features now allow users of this service to share, manage and track their attachments and files which are stored in the cloud.
Users are now able to add news file to their account directly from the iPhone app or chosen cloud-based storage provider. After they add the files, users can share them securely via email, as a direct link or via social networks. You might recognize that these features can already be found on Dropbox, but the cool thing about Attachments.Me is that it works this way no matter what service you’re using (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box or Sky Drive).
The ability to automatically sort attachments into different cloud services was also added. If you like to keep personal away form business, you can do that now as the service will allow you to organize where each attachment will go. Let’s say you like do keep your family photos on Dropbox, but you use Google Drive or Sky Drive for work. Attachments.Me will ask you where do you want your files to go and next time it will sort the files on its own.
Top feature of Attachments.ME
One of the top features of Attachments Everywhere, is that users are now able to send files via email which they can secure with a custom password. This comes in handy if you’re sending some important work related stuff and it’s not bad to know that your files are safe and secure. After the files have been sent alongside with the message, recipients will get an email which will prompt them to a special page where the content will be shown as thumbnail images. All of the files can be previewed before downloading them.
Another feature added to Attachments.Me is a unique graph which is available on the website’s dashboard. It shows you how many times you have shared your files, as well as the total number of views and downloads. The graph is pretty visual and it even allows you to to keep track of which file was accessed when.
Plans for Attachments.ME
At the moment there are two types of plans. When you sign up for free, you get 2 GB of file sharing storage and you can only attach files which are up to 100 MB in size. If this is not enough for you, the service if offering Pro plan which comes with 25GB of storage and 5 GB file size limit when sharing for only $9 US a month.
