At Spark.me 2017, we hosted a legend when it comes to marketing – the great Rory Sutherland. We decided to keep up with the “trend of legends”, so one of this year’s keynote speakers is Mark Schaefer, a globally-recognized speaker, author of multiple bestsellers, and business consultant who blogs at {grow} – one of the top five marketing blogs of the world. His clients include both start-ups and global brands such as Adidas, Cisco, Johnson & Johnson, Dell, Pfizer, and the UK government. If all this didn’t blow you away, there’s more! 😊 Mark has written six best-selling books and he is the seventh-most mentioned person by CMO’s on Twitter, and is among the Top 10 most re-tweeted marketing authorities in the world! Excited enough?

That’s not all! Another #SparkMe 2018 speaker is Boyd Multerer, the man who founded Xbox Live and XNA. On the Xbox team, he started Xbox Live in 2000, an online multiplayer gaming and digital media delivery service, and ran engineering for it for four years. Since leaving Microsoft in 2014, Boyd has been independently researching (and building) the future of operating systems for IoT (Internet of things) style connected devices. He has filed roughly 50 patents with at least 26 final approved. How awesome is that? 😮
When it comes to the brand leadership, who is better to talk about it than Spark.me 2018 keynote speaker, Denise Lee Yohn? She is the expert on brand leadership, an in-demand consultant, and a bestselling author. News media including FOX Business TV, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR call on Denise when they want an expert point-of-view on hot business issues. Earlier in her career, Denise the vice president/general manager of Sony Electronic Inc.’s first ever brand office, where she garnered major corporate awards. Consulting clients have included Target, Oakley, Dunkin’ Donuts, and other leading companies.
As you can see, our list of 2018 speakers is already mind-blowing! If you’re expecting for someone to say: “Bazinga!”, it’s not gonna happen. Oh, wait… One of our keynote speakers has appeared on CBS hit comedy The Big Bang Theory six times! Mike Massimino is a former NASA astronaut, professor at Columbia University, TV personality, Senior Advisor for Space Programs at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, and a bestselling author! 😮 He served as a NASA Astronaut from 1996-2014, flying in space twice and walking in space four times for the final two Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions. Mike was the first person to tweet from space, and the last to work inside Hubble. Massimino appears regularly on talk shows, news programs and documentaries, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Star Talk, and NatGeo’s new television series One Strange Rock!

And make sure to catch Dhiraj Mukherjee, co-founder of Shazam, which was acquired by Apple in 2017 for a reported $400 million! Recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s Top 50 technology entrepreneurs in 2015, Dhiraj was previously Head of Banking Innovation at Virgin Money, where he was responsible for developing and implementing disruptive new digital banking products, propositions and partner. He is also an active angel investor, mentor to emerging technology start ups, and advisor to venture capital firms.
