5 Best April 1st Internet Pranks – Not by Google
April 1st is in many cultures known as day for playing tricks on people. Unfortunately, I spent this year April Fools’ Day in Spain, where this tradition does not exist. Since I wanted to have a few laughs, I had to browse the internet in search for the best of the best. Here is my list!
5. Wolfram|Alpha delivers results as handwritten notes.

Wolfram|Alpha announced a Handwritten Knowledge Engine, a new, more personal way of delivering computed answers. Sticking to the belief that best gifts are handmade, this search engine tried to think of a way to gift each and every user that visited the website. They began to imagine ways to add that handmade, personal flair to Wolfram|Alpha results.
4. Twitter Will Charge for Using Vowels
Many of us were wondering how Twitter makes money. Contrary to popular belief, they do not get paid for messing up the API every now and then, so something else had to be in play. It seems this year Twitter decided to introduce a two-tiered system will see users who don’t want to pay $5 a month relegated to pblshng twts lk ths, in order to encourage “a more efficient and ‘dense’ form of communication.”

This will help those who find the uploading process too confusing or the speed to fast to follow. You’ll have tons of time to do other things while you wait 2-3 weeks to receive your URL! And then just think of how happy you will be to open your inbox!
