A Decade-Long Journey of Alexandre Duarte

Kick starting his career with a Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design and a Graduate Degree in Digital Design for Interactive Media, Alexandre knew how to make use of his skills.

Back in 2003, he was an intern web designer at the COPPETEC Foundation in Brazil. This internship was followed by another one at 2pix Multimedia & Design. Quite helpful in the early stages, these gigs helped him develop his design skills, as well as master client relations.

From there, he went on to become a full time Information Architect, Art Director & Visual Designer at the Canvas Webhouse, a digital agency in Brazil. For more than 5 years, Alexandre worked on diverse and interesting projects. The following years had nothing but great opportunities in store for Alexandre. Working as a UX/visual designer and a Senior UI designer, he assisted clients in various niches during their digital journeys.

While employed different agencies and non-profits, this .MEr simultaneously worked on building a freelancing career. Scoring projects left and right, he assisted clients in communication, marketing, sports, culture, health tech, as well as financial service segments. Clearly, he knew how to turn skills into opportunities.

Participating in more than 50 digital projects, he really let his skillset shine. Acting as art director, IA, and a UX and UI designer, he coupled his creativity with organizational skills to create the perfect solutions for his clients.

Today, based in Lisbon, he is doing the same, designing customer experiences for health tech services at Cocoon Experience.
